I am a Certified Member of NACHI, (National Association of Certified Home Inspectors), and am licensed to practice Home Inspection in the State of Illinois. I passed the State of Illinois Pre-Licensing exam on my first try. I am also committed to NACHI’s required 24 hours of Continuing Education per year (four times the level of Continuing Education required by the State of Illinois!). In addition to all the required pre-license classroom training and state-required field training, I have also successfully completed the following specialty classes: the NACHI “Ethics Obstacle Course,” the NACHI Continuing Education Program on the Standards of Practice, the NACHI Continuing Education Program on Electrical Inspections, and Environmental Microbiology Laboratory’s course, “Mold, Allergens, Sampling, and Report Interpretation.”
